All our crankshafts are manufactured from EN40B Steel, which are forged in specially modieed dies to give a better forged crankshaft than was originally made. Some of the improvements such as the counter balance weights increased to give better engine harmonics. Other options available are: cross drilling, removal of primary gear slot and different flywheel drilling can also be done on request.
Other slight modifications such as the harmonic balancer. Keyway increased in length and lightening of the big ends. Various strokes can be achieved as at the forging stage extra material was added to the big ends, to allow strokes ranging from 76mm to 86.2mm.
